Layan Beach, Phuket

Layan Beach is none other than an extension of Bang Tao Beach.

The area is quite beautiful and the beach is almost deserted.

I had not been back here for a few years, and I must say that I was quite surprised to see the change: dozens, even hundreds of recent constructions have sprung up like mushrooms.

Luxury homes, in the style of the country, a superb golf course (Laguna Golf Club), all guarded by guards with fences at the entrance of each subdivision.

It's beautiful, very beautiful...

Fortunately, in addition to all this, we can still find typical and traditional places.

Layan Beach

This view is the entrance (or access) to Layan beach... which is part of the "Sirinat National Park" and therefore who says National Park says pay... you have to pay a passage fee for the vehicle... which is 70THB.

Layan Beach is just an extension of Bang Tao Beach... a very peaceful beach with a very nice landscape. Few people, you will not risk to step on you...

Wild beach... yes maybe... there are almost no restaurants or massages...

If you like solitude but not completely... this is the place I recommend!

A jet-ski floating quietly... strange. Maybe he's looking for a customer
A few deckchairs are available... and some food, but that's not the main thing.
Some holidaymakers have brought their folding camping chairs and are camping under the trees in the shade...
Pleasant landscape, full of softness and calm...

What will always surprise me, is that by reading posts here and there, I notice that the future holidaymakers in Thailand, always look for places without too many people, rather authentic, not polluted by street vendors, nor by jet-skis or parasails...

Well, here... Layan Beach offers you all these dream conditions...
and I dare to admit that this beach is one of my favorites in Phuket.
