Soi Rambuttri, Bangkok

Soi Rambuttri, afternoon...

One of the accesses to the Soi Rambuttri... with the inevitable traditional tuk-tuk that are part of the city's scenery.
It is certain that Bangkok without Tuk Tuk, would no longer be Bangkok....

On the Map

A painter who spreads her works like that, in bulk, on the floor...
After a few seconds of walking in the Soi Rambuttri,
it is in this kind of small restaurant above that we find refuge.
Excellent cuisine and lively Isan music... we enjoy it.
Four local dishes, two large bottles of Singha, one Fanta Orange... 490 THB (less than 13€)
Completely satisfied and in great shape again, we leave for the next part of our journey.

In 2016, I came to this place... here is the wall with its graffiti in 2016...
the same wall with another graffiti in 2019....
A well-positioned ATM....
I was really pleasantly surprised by the discovery of this area.
The kind of neighborhood I like, no bling bling, no abusive traffic, with trees providing shade, which in this hot summer period is not a luxury... nice and quiet little trotters
Only a few tuk tuk tuk and a few motorbikes are allowed to pass through. The salesmen are there of course, but everything is really quiet.

Early evening at the Soi Rambuttri....

After a few minutes of walking in this lively evening Soi, there is nothing better than to settle down for a simple local meal with a nice cold beer....
