Aquaria Phuket

  An impressive Aquarium in Phuket

I went to the brand new Phuket aquarium located right in the middle of the new Central Festival...

As always, everything is well thought out, arranged, organized.

The opening of this exceptional place took place on Sunday August 25th but I personally preferred to wait a few days and come during the week hoping that the crowd would be a little more fluid... it was indeed the case.

Many visitors on Wednesday afternoon, but quite bearable. I don't know what it feels like on the weekend when the children are on leave...

For Thai people, the entrance fee should probably be quite selective. It's not cheap, it's clear, but we took advantage of a promotion period by paying 490THB instead of 890THB

I would have liked to give you more detailed explanations about this place... such as the surface area, the number of basins, etc... but this information is not available

So I'm going to take you inside this rather surprising place... of course I add a lot of pictures, quite difficult to take given the low lighting in general....

This turtle on a blue background is absolutely splendid

  The Mermaids Show....

Large gathering... people sitting on the ground in front of a large aquarium... the show will start...
Some mermaids appear for a few minutes... it's beautiful to see and I imagine that the children must appreciate...

Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by this remarkable place. Surprised also by the enormity of the basins, large bay windows offering the visitor the possibility to imagine himself in the middle of all this fauna like a diver....

It's only the first week of operation, I think that over time some things will find their full effectiveness... like for example the water that I found somewhat cloudy. Is it due to the recent opening, is it a problem of filtration adjustment...???? this kind of details are solved over time...

Is that the reason why we currently have a promotional price...? we will know sooner or later.

We can also see some jellyfish... but with the very fluorescent and changing lighting, it is not easy to have the right shot.
